What will you get from downloaded folder, "Main Theme"

When you extract Main Theme.zip then you will get moto.zip and moto-child.zip.

moto.zip

This is the main theme which you have to install.

Child Theme(moto-child.zip)

This is the optional theme, and it is not necessary to intall this theme with mato.zip.

A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality and styling of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes are the recommended way of modifying an existing theme.

Why use a Child Theme?

If you modify a theme directly and it is updated, then your modifications may be lost. By using a child theme you will ensure that your modifications are preserved.

Theme Installation

You can install the theme in two ways: through WordPress, or via FTP. The moto.zip file is the Installable WordPress Theme and that is what you need to use to get the theme installed. Please see the following sections for each method.

A. In the downloded theme folder you will get the Theme for installation folder inside it you will get the moto.zip file.

1) Installation via Wordpress : Install theme and activate

2) Installation via FTP : Prefer upload the un-zipped theme folder

How To Install MOTO themes! via WordPress

Step 1 - Navigate to Appearance > Themes.

Step 2 - Click Add New and click the Upload button.

Step 3 - Upload moto.zip from uploaded folder and then click"Install Now"

NOTE :From 5th step onwards all the points are same for both installation method i.e. WP installation and FTP installation.

FTP Installation

How To Install MOTO themes! via FTP

Step 1 - Log into your hosting space via a FTP software.

Step 2 - Unzip the moto.zip file and ONLY use the extracted MOTO theme folder.

Step 3 - Upload the extracted Moto theme folder into wp-content > themes folder.

Step 4 - Navigate to the wp-dashboard and then activate the newly installed theme by going to Appearance > Themes and clicking the Activate button.

Step 5 - Once uploaded, activate the theme. Then you will see a notification message to i the required & recommended plugins:  You will get message which shown in screenshot.

Step 6 - All plugins shown in screenshot are the required and recommended plugins. All the recommended plugins are the optional plugins.

After this step you have to install and activate all the plugins.

Step 7 - Navigate to Appearance >> Menus

How To Install MOTO themes Demo Data!

If you have purchased Frontend Offer then you will get "Main Theme.zip" as well as "Demo importer part1.zip". When you unzip both "Main Theme.zip" and "Demo importer part1.zip", you will get moto.zip, moto-child.zip and "demo importer part1" plugin respectively. In this plugin you will get 50 demo Layouts. You have to upload "demo importer part1" plugin. And If you have purchased upgrade1 (premium license) then you will get "Main Theme.zip" as well as "Demo importer part2.zip". When you unzip, you will get two plugins ie "demo importer part1" plugin with 50 demo layouts & "demo importer part2" plugin with 55+ demo layouts.

Navigate to Moto Options >> Demo Importer

After importing your demo successfully you will get the message shown in screenshot.
